Xcode 4 Preview 2 Released To Devs

Developers who would like another peek at Xcode 4 before everything’s quite finished have been granted one.  Yesterday, Apple released a second preview of Xcode 4 specifically to developers so that everyone can get familiar with it ahead of time.

We’ll leave the actual fiddling-around to you, but an official description explained, “Xcode is the complete toolset for building Mac, iPhone, and iPad applications – and with Xcode 4, the tools have been redesigned to be faster, easier to use, and more helpful than ever before.  The Xcode IDE understands your project’s every detail, identifies mistakes in both syntax and logic, and will even fix your code for you.”

Xcode 4 comes with a brand new user interface, too, and the statement summarized, “Quite simply, Xcode 4 will help you write better code.”

Unfortunately, a final launch date for Xcode 4 hasn’t yet been announced, but that just makes the second developer preview more important.

Take a look if this sort of thing is up your alley and see what Apple’s got in store for you.
