Last week, we warned you that tickets to the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference 2010 were going on sale, and encouraged interested parties to buy their tickets and book any necessary hotels and flights. Now, here’s hoping you followed through, because tickets are sold out.
Tickets sold out in eight days, which is pretty impressive considering that they were going for $1,599 each. Think about it: people chose to spend a few days talking about Apple rather than send their mortgage company an extra payment and move a month closer to retirement.
Of course, if you consider that the information people pick up at WWDC may help them make still more money, well, there’s no telling how the situation will turn out.
Enjoy WWDC if you’re going, then, and if you’re an iPhone developer who’s staying home, just consume as much news coverage of the event as you can.
