Ilya Grigorik, Dan Rubin, and Keir Whitaker are fairly important figures in the Web developer scene; they’ve by and large established names for themselves apart from several important projects. And so other Web developers may be intrigued to know that they’ve also recommended four key resources.
Stack Overflow is the first of these, with all of the developers telling Matt Silverman that it’s a great community.
Next up is GitHub, with Silverman writing, “GitHub gets down to the real nuts and bolts of code development and sharing. Users of the network can build code repositories for projects they’re working on (both open source and proprietary) and share them with other users in a highly collaborative environment.”
Then Freenode and – believe it or not – actual in-person events sort of wrap up the list.
Hopefully these resources will prove as useful to you as they have to Grigorik, Rubin, and Whitaker.
