Sprint Expands App Developer Program

Sprint said today it is expanding its service enabler program, introducing new capabilities for iDEN development and continuing to improve the tools available through the Sprint Application Developer Program.

Sprint said it is expanding its open location platform with the addition of TechnoCom Corporation to give developers more ways to create new location-based services for Sprint customers. TechnoCom is allocation –based aggregator that provides customization and integration support services tailored to call center and Interactive Voice Response (IVR) based services.

“We are pleased to add TechnoCom to our developer program as a location-based aggregator,” said Len Barlik, vice president of wireless and wireline services for Sprint.

“Because developers can work with a variety of specialized service enablers, they can create and launch richer applications that benefit from the speed and utility of the Sprint network. We look forward to seeing the useful and cost effective applications that developers can create for call center management and for other industries.”
