Simple Gloss Navigation Bar

This quick easy guide will teach you how to create a simple but effective gloss effect in a matter of minutes! It is very WEB 2.0 Stylish. You’ll be creating this:

First off, create a new document 500px by 30px. Fill that whole area with black on one layer. Right click on the layer and select blending options. Adjust the settings to these screen shots.

And your done! That was really simple wasn’t it? When I first learn’t this I thought woah it looks really good but its so simple to do. If you want, add a adjustment layer > Hue/saturation and change the color to orange or blue. It will give it that extra edge!
