A Quick and simple tutorial showing you how to remove the background from your images…

1.) Open your image

2.) Select the pen tool (P) and begin to outline the couple. Once you have them outlined be sure to select the pice of background between their two heads. Your image should look like the following.

3.) Go to Select > Inverse (CTRL + SHIFT + I)… this selects the background only, not the people.

4.) Go to Image > Adjustments > Desaturate (CTRL + SHIFT + U)

5.) Go to Image > Adjustments > Brightness/Contrast. Set the Brightness at +28 and the Contrast to +29. Your image should now look like the following.
