Reflective Orb Tutorial

With the Pen Tool still selected, right click the Path and click Make Selection…, use the following settings:

Now you should be left with a selection like so:

Again with the Gradient Tool make a White to Transparent gradient inside of the selection. My gradient was from under the bottom of the selection, to above the top of the selection:

Change the Layer Mode for this layer to Soft Light and lower the opacity to 50%.

Now the last step..
Create a new layer Layer > New > Layer of course.
With the Brush Tool make 2 (two) blobs near the left side like so:

That gives it an extra touch of realism
