Reflective Orb Tutorial

In this tutorial you can learn how to make a sleek orb with a very interesting reflection.

1. The Background

First of all make a background. I used a 100×100 document with a #9dc6e0 to #92aec6 gradient.

2. The Orb

First of all create a new layer. Now make a perfectly round selection in the middle of your document.
(Note: To make a perfect circle, hold shift with making your selection, or use a Fixed Aspect Ratio of 1×1 or equal.

Now fill the selection with a #3c8dc2 to #1d4978 Radial Gradient.
