Aug 20th, Python 3.0 is now in its last beta stage to test out all the bugs and errors and to get everything sorted. Pythons 3.0 alphas started releasing in 4th qaurter of 2007 and in 2008 the betas we’re release and we’re down to the last one. Python 3.0 is set to hit a RC this upcoming october of 2008.
When I first seen the release of Python 3.0 back in 2007 I’ve always thought Python would make a come back. Now that we’re at the final stages I’m seeing more controversy over code compatibility, and why developers should update older code. I will be grabbing Python 3.0 for my testing environment to report back to you how the last beta is behaving. Until then all we can do is wait until October Halloween Month :).
