Polaroid Returning To Instant Film

Monday, February 8th, 2010

One of Polaroid’s trademark technologies throughout the years has always been instant film. Their instant film line ended back in 2008, but due to popular demand, has made a strong return at CES 2010.

Polaroid’s Chief Marketing Officer, Jon Pollock spoke with WebProNew’s Abby Johnson about the reasons behind their return to instant film. The company received so much support for the format, specifically from artists and photographers, that they couldn’t ignore it.

The PIC 1000 is the camera that Polaroid is hoping brings instant film into the 21st century. There have been few actual details surrounding the camera – we do know it will be releasing in time for the holidays this year.
