PlayStation’s motion controller was officially unveiled this week, and Move, as it’s known, has enjoyed a positive response so far.  What’s more, it’s set to receive a lot of developer support.

An impressive 36 publishers and developers are prepared to devote resources to Move, according to Mike Jackson.  That includes big industry names like Activision, Capcom, Disney, Electronic Arts, Konami, Sega, Ubisoft, and Warner Bros.

So what’s that mean for the average developer?  Well, any who happen to deal in PS3 games may want to urge their bosses to look at Move so that the whole company doesn’t get behind.

Otherwise, now may also be a good time to look for job openings.  Businesses could want to bring new people onboard to tackle this fresh technology, or at least fill existing positions as longstanding employees go to work on it.
