PayPal Mobile Payments Open To Developers

PayPal has announced its Mobile Payments Library is now in open beta to developers everywhere the Apple App Store is available.

The PayPal blog offers more details. “Our Mobile Payments Library currently supports both iPhones and iPads, and will be available on additional platforms soon. We opened this up in closed beta to some US developers at Macworld 2010 and we’re pleased to say feedback so far has been very positive.”

“Several apps using our Library are already live. For example, custom charms by Baublet, are available in the iPhone App Store – users can buy & ship photo charms directly from their iPhone. With the integration of PayPal’s Mobile Payments Library, Baublet customers are able to quickly and easily purchase these charms with their PayPal accounts.”
