Motorola Invests In Mobile Game Developer

Motorola has announced it is investing in Moblyng, a developer and publisher of cross-platform, HTML5-based games for mobile devices and social networks.

Moblyng games have been published for Android, Facebook, iOS and WebOS platforms and have been downloaded more than 9 million times.

Moblyng is known for titles including m:Racing and Dungeon Quest for the Android platform – and partnering with publishers such as Playdom to extend their games and brands to mobile devices and social platforms such as Facebook.

“As an early Android developer, Moblyng is very excited to work with Motorola Mobility, the leading Android smartphone and tablet provider,” said Stewart Putney, chief executive officer and founder of Moblyng.

“We look forward to working together to bring exciting social gaming experiences to Motorola Mobility’s devices.”
