Microsoft and Ford have partnered together in the past to create ‘Sync’. They’ve taken this idea a step further in the the 2011 Ford Super Duty, by expanding the available software. They’ve touted it as a ‘contractor’s dream’.
The idea behind the software integration is to allow drivers to turn the cab of their truck into a mobile office. There’s a Sprint 3G Connection internet option, word processor, and even printer compatibility. The system also works with Bluetooth connections, so mouse and keyboard functions are available.
Microsoft and Ford are taking the idea of portability to a whole new level. Allowing those who are constantly driving from location to location options they’d only get in an office.
