iPad Here, So is New iPhone SDK

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you probably know that Apple announced its new tablet today, the iPad. Well, along with that comes the iPad software developer kit, because this thing not only supports iPhone apps, but also its own apps.

The SDK is already available, though the device itself won’t ship for 2 months. iPhone Developer Program members can download the iPhone SDK 3.2 beta today, to start developing apps for the iPad. Members will have access to:

– iPhone SDK 3.2 beta
– iPad programming guide
– iPad Simulator
– iPad Human Interface Guidelines
– iPad Sample Code
– Preparing Universal Applications

It costs $99 a year for the standard program and $299 a year for the enterprise program.
