It’s time once again for developers to consider their interests, check their schedules, and weigh their wallets. Intel has announced that the Intel Developer Forum (IDF) will be held in San Francisco between September 13th and September 15th.
Speakers should include Paul Otellini, David Perlmutter, Doug Davis, Renee James, and Justin Rattner, along with Thomas Piazza, Opher Kahn, and Diane Bryant. Lots of important execs and well-connected engineers, in other words.
Mark Erwin, the IDF global events manager, also promised in a statement, “IDF is your chance to collaborate with peers, experience the latest technology and exchange ideas about the future. Each day of this forward-looking conference is packed with important technical information and insights from experts.”
“General Public, Full Conference” passes are selling for $1,195 through the 24th, at which point prices will go up $200, so make up your mind soon about attending.
One-day passes and even cheaper third-day “Showcase” passes are also available if you want to go but would prefer not to spend over a grand.
