Google will be focusing on Google Wave at this year’s I/O developer conference again. Last year they introduced Google Wave and gave an 80-minute keynote on it followed by sessions explaining API basics, the core operational transformation algorithm, how Google takes advantage of GWT to build the client, and federation protocol.
This year, the company says it will focusing on how developers can build upon those basics to “take Wave integration to the next level.”
“We’ll teach you how to build amazing extensions, how to get your own wave server running, and how to start using Wave inside your business,” says Pamela Fox of developer relations.
Sessions will include “Open source Google Wave: Building your own wave provider“, “Google Wave API design principles + anatomy of a great extension“, “Making smart & scalable Wave robots“, and “Google Wave and the Enterprise Environment“.
Developers can register for I/O here.
