Google announced that registration is now open for Google I/O, the company’s third annual devleoper conference in San Francisco. The event takes place May 19-20. Google expects thousands of web, mobile, and enterprise developers to be in attendance.
Google says this year’s event will focus on building next generation apps in the cloud and the latest on Android, Chrome, App Engine, Google Web Toolkit, Google APIs, etc. There will be over 80 sessions, and Google will bring back the Developer Sandbox from the 2009 event. This is where developers from other companies will be able to demo their apps.
Google will add more sessions, speakers, and companies in time. If you’re interested, you can keep up with the list here.
Registration is available at an “early bird rate” of $400 through April 16. After that, it’s $500. Discounts are available for students and faculty for $100.
