Google Launches AdMob SDK For Windows Phone 7

Google has expanded its developer offerings with the launch of its beta SDK for Windows Phone 7.

The Windows Phone 7 SDK allows developers to integrate ads into their apps, control where they appear, and determine the type of ads shown in their apps. The SDK is compatible with text and banner ads.

Google said it has also made it easier for users to return to an app after engaging with an ad.

The Google Mobile Ads Blog has additional details. “In addition to the new beta Windows Phone 7 SDK, we’re also updating our existing iOS and Android SDKs.”

“The new SDKs include enhanced HTML5 support for ad units that enable advertisers to create more engaging, richer ads and in turn, an improved user experience.  We’re also now supporting full screen interstitial formats for tablets on iOS and Android.”
