Attending a conference is a good way to make industry contacts and exchange ideas. Presenting at a conference is a fantastic way to do these things and grab a lot of headlines, as well. Take note, then, that the 2010 Game Developers Conference Online has started accepting submissions.
The conference will take place in Austin, Texas between October 5th and 8th, and organizers are looking for presentations related to business and marketing, design, live, production, and programming.
Izora de Lillard, the event director, explained in a statement, “GDC Online will continue its tradition of presenting the most knowledgeable speakers to discuss the future of game development on emerging platforms utilizing budding technologies.”
The submission period will remain open through May 19th, leaving developers a fair amount of time to check their schedules and figure out if giving a talk seems doable.
