Four Steps to Developing a Profitable Android Game

Google has posted a “quick primer” for game development on Android. The post outlines four basic steps:

1. Decide on a target device class
2. Pick a language
3. Carefully design the best game ever
4. Profit

Obviously each of these steps comes with significantly more detail. Read the post here.

The author does provide some helpful resources for that fourth step. These include HeightMapProfiler, SpriteMethodTest, GLSurfaceView, Quake Port, and the Replica Island source.
