A special opportunity for iPhone and iPad developers to meet with like-minded individuals and discuss their trade has been scheduled. The first-ever iPhone/iPad developers’ conference is set to take place between September 27th and 29th.
iPhone/iPad DevCon 2010 will be held in San Diego, and BZ Media is behind the event. The official site promises, “If you’re an iPhone or iPad developer looking for training, classes or workshops that will teach you iOS4 development, this developer conference is where you need to be. . .”
Supposedly, “[T]his is the most info-packed, most practical mobile application development conference you’ll attend this year.”
That may actually be the case, too. Even if a dozen other iPhone/iPad events are squeezed in before the end of this year, consider that there will be something of a pent-up demand leading up to the first occasion. So this conference should be unique.
Now for a little info about rates: early bird prices start at $50 for an exhibit hall pass and range up to $945 for a full, three-day passport. Just be sure to register before July 30th to avoid fee hikes.
