Facebook developers who haven’t heard much about f8 might want to postpone or cancel anything they’d planned to do this afternoon. In case you didn’t know, Facebook’s developer conference is taking place right now, and live streams of certain presentations can keep you in the know regardless of your physical location.
At this point, it’s hard to say what’ll come out of the conference – Facebook might not say anything of importance, or it might announce some Twitter-killing features, an advertising system that’ll put Google to shame, and a desire to go public on the stock market. You never know.
The odds are good that at least something interesting will come out of this, though, and since it’s a developer conference, it’s not hard to imagine one group of people the change will effect.
You can watch the f8 presentations here. Mark Zuckerberg’s on stage at the moment.
