Business is booming for the developer known as CCP. CCP, which is responsible for EVE Online, is set to expand in more than one way by moving into console games and opening a new office in the UK.
Sam Naylor reported earlier today with regards to the office, “CCP . . . has opened a development studio in Newcastle, UK. The studio will be helping with the upcoming shooter Dust 514.”
As for the other matter, it sounds like even developers who don’t work for CCP may benefit. The company claimed it’s “charting new paths for gameplay and business models that will breathe new life into connected consoles.”
CCP probably bears watching, then. Or it might deserve your application if you’re looking for a new job.
Let’s hope everything pans out as planned.
