Creating a Vectored Logo

In this tutorial I will teach you how to create a cool vectored logo like this:

Start out by creating a 400 x 400 pixels document. Now create a new layer. Grab a paint brush, specifically a paint splatter brush. Brush once with that brush on your layer. Like so:

Keep brushing on new layers with different splatter brushes until you have something like this:

Now grab you text tool. I am making this logo for DJ Vonnie. So what I am going to start off doing is I am going to by typing in the V. Here are the settings I used.

Now go to the Blending options menu. Go to stroke and insert these settings:

Now you should have something like this:

Ok so now we want to add the rest of our name. So now I am going to create some text that says DJ with these settings:

Now go into blending options and insert this in the stroke area:

Now you should have something like this:

Now I want to add my “onnie” text. So using the same settings as I used for DJ I will create the text saying onnie. Make sure you use the blending options as well! Now that you added the text with the settings we used for DJ you should have something like this:

Congratulations! You have just learned how to create a cool logo like the one above.
