This effect is really easy to achieve and can be use for a great wallpaper. Create a new document to your screen size.
Fill the background black and then on the same layer go to Filter > Render > Lens Flare. Move the lens flare around and create quite a few of them like mine:
Go to Filter > Filter GalleryÂ and find the Chrome effect. Change the settings to what looks really cool. Heres mine:
Add a hue/saturation adjustment layer and checkÂ colorize. Now change the settings to you suitable color.
Heres my wallpaper version. (Just experiment, its the way to go!)
On my version, I duplicated the layer and set it to a blending option such as overlay to give it depth. Then I added a lens flare again to give it more depth. If you really want to know how to create mine then I’ll add onto this tutorial.
