Chrome Text Effect

In this Adobe Photoshop tutorial you will learn how to give your text a chrome effect as seen below:

Chrome Text Effect

Create a new Photoshop Document. I used the size 420×120.

Type in your text, I typed in “Chrome Text” as a test.


Right click the layer and click Blending Options. Add the following options:



Click the OK button.
You should now have something like this:

Play around with it see what you get. This was what I came up with:
