MACYesterday we brought you news that the 15-inch MacBook Pro might be getting a pretty significant refresh later this summer. The main features of this update were a thinner form factor, USB 3.0 technology, and, most notably, a retina display. It turns out, though, that the MacBook Pro isn’t the only Mac getting in on

MACInfection rates of the Flashback malware that was on over 650,000 Macs at the beginning of April have been in steep decline, according to the organization that discovered the malware in the first place. What’s more, thanks to the proliferation of detection and removal tools (including Apple’s), the rate of new infections has dropped almost to nothing.

MACWhen I used to work on a Linux system, there was a utility we had that would let me take screen captures every 30 seconds while my computer was otherwise unattended, as a way to see if anyone else was using it or not. I liked it. Now I’d like to do the same on

MACI’m a professional copyeditor and spend a lot of time marking up documents for clients. I’ve historically used Microsoft Word, but I’d like to migrate to Apple’s Pages program since it’s becoming more popular in the field. MACI take a lot of photos. So many that Aperture is starting to bog down. I was talking with a fellow photographer and he said that he splits his Aperture library every six months. Sounds like a good idea. How do I create a new Aperture library or, better, move a project into a new library?

MACI know that there’s a slick iPhone and iPad app store [ed. note: generally this is called the "iTunes Store" or "App Store", depending on your preference] but I understand that there’s also a similar online software store for Mac OS X applications and games too? Cool. Where is this Mac App Store and how
