Eight additional add-ons for Firefox which will allow you to develop your site quicker and more effective.
1- User Agent Switcher
Some sites won’t give you access to their site unless you are using a certain browser. Microsoft is very famous for doing this. If you don’t want to go through the hassle of downloading and installing a new browser User Agent will become one of your favorite add-ons. By default User Agent comes with three defined agents (IE 7, Netscape 4.8, and Opera 9.25) as if you are running Windows Vista. You have the option to add additional User Agents if you need or would like. This makes it easier to update the addon if a new version of a browser is released.

2 – Quick Locale Switcher
Another addon that allows you to get around sites that only let you view them if you meet their requirements. This time it is based on what nation you are in. Certain parts of BBC.co.uk, and the site hulu.com only allow you to view their page if you are from the nation that the site is intended for, in this case the United Kingdom and United States. Quick Locale Switcher allows you to spoof what nation you are from, and allowing you to trick the server into letting you view the page.

3 – View Cookies
You maybe asking why will this addon help me develop my site? There are times when designing that you want to actually remove the cookies for the site from your computer. If you are testing a site that stores information via a cookie. Instead of deleting all your cookies, this addon allows you to delete cookies just for the site that you are currently one, via the View Page Info option when you right click the site.

4 -Add N Edit Cookies
This can be considered a similar tool as View Cookies, but Add N Edit goes one step further. Add N Edit allows you to change the values of the cookies in Firefox.

5 -Small Screen Renderer
As the mobile web starts to grow, this addon will grow in popularity also. If you have ever wanted to see what your site looks like from a mobile device without having to use a mobile device, this addon is for you. It will allow you to see how mobile devices like a cell phone render your site. From what I could tell it doesn’t limit or disable JavaScript and other functionality of Firefox, but resizes your the width of the page you are viewing to the average size of a mobile device.
6 – UrlParams
If you ever used POST or GET this is addon is very useful when trouble shooting or checking what is being passed to the browser. Via a sidebar, this addon will show you all the variable names that was passed to the page you are view via POST or GET, and it also shows the values of those variables.
7/8 – FireCookies and FirePHP
Both of this are extensions of the popular FireBug addon. FireCookies is similar to Add N Edit Cookies, but with the FireBug interface. This addon allows you to edit the values of your cookies on the in real time. FirePHP is the PHP version of FireBug, and it gives you the flexibility of FireBug when creating a site designed in PHP.
